"Soft enough to bend, but Strong enough to stand, She's Holy Water and Hell Fire"

American Singer-Songwriter, Kelly Brock, is "Sunny Bleau". Sunny Bleau is originally from Scottsdale, AZ but now resides in Oxford, MI. The sultry, gregarious, and personable woman called "Sunny Bleau" is known for her straightforward lyrics, passionate performances, strong vocals, and playful personality. Kelly was given the nickname "Sunny" when she was younger. 

When she was in high school, she sang with the high school praise band. One of her youth leaders suggested she learn the guitar and lead the youth praise band, so Sunny’s dad gave her a guitar for her 16th birthday. She very quickly learned a hand-full of chords. Sunny had always been a writer of poems and short stories. In college, she studied theatre and loved writing 1 act and full-length plays. 

In 2019, Sunny met Producer and Guitarist, Nicholas Cocco, and the two began writing songs. Sunny started performing alongside Nic at Senior Homes in the Detroit area where she would sing and play the kazoo... the gateway drug that would open her up to the harmonica! Now, Sunny incorporates her passionate harmonica solos into their recorded music and live stage shows.

Born on the US East Coast and playing Guitar since the age of 7, his mother told him that if he learned “Malaguena” by Ernesto Lecuona, he would be allowed take guitar lessons and soon after, he was able to play her favorite song, and by the age of 17 his heart and head was focused on jazz, blues, fusion, and progressive rock which led him to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston. While at Berklee he had incredible teachers that inspired him and met many folks that he would perform with over the years. Since his Berklee days, he has gotten to play music with many artists, toured and recorded at studios in New York, LA, and Nashville. Nic has traveled extensively, working as a professional side man, studio musician, producer, and arranger. He has over 100 published works, is a member of ASCAP and has worked with multiple acts, artists, and producers throughout his musical career. 

Nic is the founder of CoccoMusic, LLC and Co-Founder of Underdog Music and Publishing with Kelly Brock.  Nic feels blessed to be able to work with, record and produce some incredibly talented artists and bands.

Tom Sumner was born and raised in Flint, MI. He was Executive Director for the Center City Association of Greater Flint, The Flint Children’s Museum and New Leash On Life in Los Angeles. Tom traveled the Midwest in the 70’s and early 80’s as a full-time musician playing drums in small concert venues for recording artists “The Diamonds,” “The Drifters,” “Freddy (Boom-Boom) Cannon,” “Del Shannon,” and many others. 

Tom took to the radio airwaves in the 1990’s as a classical music host at Flint’s public radio station, and as media spokesperson in TV PSA’s for mid-Michigan Crimestoppers. He was a regular on-air host during pledge drives for Flint’s public television station. Tom also hosted a morning talk show at Kettering University’s student run radio station WKUF 94.3 FM called “Off The KUF” before launching The Tom Sumner Program on Flint’s News Talk 1470 WFNT.  

In 2022, Tom retired his radio microphone and in 2024, he Joined the musician team at CoccoMusic and became the full-time drummer for Sunny Bleau and The Moons. Tom and his vintage 1978 Ludwig Drum Kit joined us just in time to be on the road with the band from the start of the 2024 Spring Loop Tour!

A third generation musician, Jon was born and raised in Michigan. He discovered his passion for music at the age of 17 when he picked up his first guitar.  With a natural talent for learning songs by ear and with guidance from some very learned friends, Jon quickly honed his skills. After retiring from a distinguished 22-year carrer in the US Navy, he returned to his home state and has been immersing himself in the live music scene ever since.

 Jon Began playing in various bands, showcasing his versatility on acoustic guitar, electric bass, lead and backing vocals as well as drums.  Influenced by the blues, rock and country, Jon has developed a unique sound that resonates with fans. His energy and style brings a vibrant presence to each and every venue he performs at.
